 | P3 Clothing Launches Campaign for Purpose (Chicago) Entrepreneur Tiffany Tapley followed her heart and started P3 Clothing, after entering a business competition, at her church, in 2004. As a top 10 finalist, she scored big by creating a clothing line encouraging others to “Do What U Love,” (P3) “Pursue Purpose Passionately” and “Love Life!” Tapley says, “I want people to have the courage to be bold.” P3’s empowering messages such as “Fear Kills” and “Future C.E.O” has launched a campaign for purpose. Its signature line of cotton tees, dresses and messenger bags are heating up city streets by mixing urban design with inspiration. The hip apparel for men, women and children comes in a range of colors like fuchsia, baby blue and vintage green. But the best thing about P3 Clothing is that you can layer it! P3 is quickly joining the ranks of other emerging Chicago-area designers and generating a national following with nearly 75,000 hits flocking to its website every month. Chicago Sun-Times, N’Digo, Brown Skin Magazine, and YMIB Magazine have recognized P3’s positive influence on young women. The inspirational clothing line has also been featured at Chicago's Historic Goodman Theatre, Chicago Antique Market, V103 Fashion Show, and Chicago African Arts Festival. She is also the co-creator along with Double Stitch of the KIDSS Entrepreneurship Program teaching business skills to children in the Chicago area. “I’m doing what I love and I want others to do the same,” says Tapley. “I want to improve the quality of life of people, inspire them to integrate their passion, and turn it into a business.” Continue to pursue purpose passionately! |
